Humanitas University has updated its admissions page, indicating that applications for the 2023/2024 academic year will be available at the end of October.
We also learn that for the first time, the HUMAT test will be held on February 16th and 17th, and March 9th and 10th, 2023. This allows students who did not score high enough on their first attempt to reapply!
There is still no word on whether the exam will be online or paper-based; we’ll keep you updated as soon as further information becomes available!
For those of you who are unfamiliar, the HUMAT is Humanitas University’s new admissions test.
The HUMAT is designed to assess applicants’ ability in scientific thinking and academic literacy, according to the university. Unlike the IMAT, the HUMAT does not assess your understanding of conventional scientific subjects like biology, chemistry, physics or mathematics.
Rather, half of the exam focuses on scientific thinking, which includes mathematical, procedural, and visual reasoning.
The other half focuses on academic literacy, which includes mainly critical thinking and reading.
