More About The University Of Bari – Aldo Moro

The University of Bari was established in 1925 and is one of the most prominent institutions in Southern Italy, as well as one of Italy’s largest, with a student population of over 60,000. A recent name change honors statesman Aldo Moro (1916-1978), who was a law student there until 1939 and later worked as an ordinary professor of law and colonial policy philosophy (1941) and criminal law philosophy (1942). The research centers of the University of Bari Aldo Moro are extremely dynamic, with connections to many departments, universities, and other research centers.

It is one of 48 Italian higher education institutions included in the 2016 CWUR ranking of the world’s top 1000 universities. Furthermore, according to Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), it is rated between 151st and 200th in the world for Physics.
