We do not take any responsibility and are not liable for any damage caused through use of products, information or any kind of service used through this website or its sub-domains be it indirect, special, incidental or consequential (including but not limited to damages for loss of business, loss of profits, interruption or the like). Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Newsletter
If you have explicitly agreed to it, you accept to receive from time to time promotional material from us by mail (newsletter). If you no longer wish to receive such material or news, we invite you to communicate it at any time or cancel your subscription to such service from the footer of any communication sent by us.
Commercial Terms
When you purchase any of the services offered by us, you accept the following:
I – You are responsible for reading the complete offer of the Service before agreeing to buy it
II – You commit to subscribe a legally binding contract for acquiring the service and for checking-out from the chosen payment method.
III – Reproduction of the material offered is prohibited.
The prices we set for the usage of our services are shown on our websites. We reserve the right to modify our prices for the products at any time and to correct any involuntary mistakes which may happen. Further information about prices and related taxes are available upon request.
We may, without warning, change our services, stop offering our services or some of their features or limiting the services. We may interrupt or suspend permanently or temporarily the access to our services without warning or responsibility for any or no reason.
Refund Policy
In case of withdrawal from a course, a written statement of its communication is accepted up to 14 working days after the seat / virtual seat reservation. If the withdrawal is received after this deadline, or if the user fails to show up during the entirety or part of the course, still payment of the total sum is due in its entirety, given its predetermination in relation to organizational and training needs. StudyMed reserves the faculty to re-schedule the starting date of a course or to cancel it if the minimum number of participants is not achieved. Any variation will be timely communicated to the participant and total refund of any already processed payment will take place. All Private tuition is fully non-refundable. Any unused tuition hours are also fully non-refundable. We require a 48 hour notice to switch private tuition time, failure to do this will result in the session expiring. You will not be able to rearrange the session or get a refund for any unused time.
Course Retake
An option of a course retake is given to students that attended 75% or more of our live classes and did not succeed in getting a favorable IMAT or HUMAT score to enter medical school in the same year. Those students may choose to retake our live course for free. This option cannot be transferred to another person and must be exercised within 12 months of the test results being released. Students that did not take the IMAT test in the year they attended the live online course are excluded from this offer. Students that took the IMAT test before attending the live course are also excluded from this offer. The use of this offer is subject to date and space availability.
Intellectual Property Rights, Copyright and Logos
The services as well as the materials on Studymed.it or lean.studymed.it included or transferred, such as software, images, texts, design, logos, books, cheat sheets, copyright, photos, audio files, video files, music and all intellectual property rights related to them are exclusively property of StudyMed. In particular, logos or trademarks of StudyMed may not be used to suggest links to or endorsements of any other services of any kind without our express written permission. Nothing in these terms will be considered as a license for these intellectual property rights and the user accepts not to sell, lease, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly show, publicly execute, publish, adapt, modify or create derived works. Information enclosed on the website may not be used to generate income of any kind, or to otherwise support any commercial undertaking such as teaching, tutoring or guidance, except with our consent and prior written permission. All documents, papers and packs that are downloaded in a .pdf format may have electronic settings which make copying and reproduction harder; likewise they may be set to be perishable at any time at our absolute discretion.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, your right to use StudyMed will cease immediately.
User Imaging Rights
StudyMed may take photographs of attending students and may use these images in marketing materials, publications, displays, their website and social media sites. We comply with the Data Protection Act of 2018 and will needs your permission prior to taking any photo or video content.
Changes and Updates to our Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Therefore, we invite you to consult this document often. When we substantially modify our Terms, we will notify you. What constitutes a substantial material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use StudyMed after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and our services.
Laws & Disputes Resolution
The laws of Italy shall govern these Terms and Conditions. Your use of StudyMed may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws. If you have any concern or dispute, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us.
